The per sqft rate applies to your built-up area (BUA) — the total floor area constructed across all floors, not the plot size. If you have a 1,000 sqft plot and build G+1 with 75% coverage, your BUA is 1,500 sqft. At Standard package rates: 1,500 × ₹1,699 = ₹25.49 lakh. This is the figure the calculator uses — not your plot area.
The cost breakdown by category — foundation, RCC, brickwork, electrical, plumbing — helps you understand where your money goes and makes it easier to have informed conversations with your contractor.
