Amit Glass Emporium designs, fabricates and installs glass and aluminium systems for homes, offices, showrooms, hospitals, hotels and commercial buildings across Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and more than fifty districts of Madhya Pradesh. Over the years, project owners, architects and contractors have asked us the same handful of questions before every order: what does this actually cost, what is the difference between grades, how long will it take, and who do I call if something needs adjusting after installation. This page is built to answer all of that in one place, with real numbers rather than vague "starting from" marketing language.
Every price you see below is read directly from our current rate card at the moment you load this page — there is nothing to manually keep in sync, and nothing here is a stale figure copied into a brochure months ago. When our team revises a rate, this page reflects it on the very next visit. That matters in a category like glass and aluminium fabrication, where raw material costs (float glass, aluminium billet, hardware, coatings) move with the market more often than most homeowners expect.
Each category below lists every specification we offer at three material grades — Economical, Standard and Premium — so you can compare before opening the full calculator for your city. Rates shown are exclusive of 18% GST and use a state-wide baseline location factor; open a city-specific calculator below for a locally adjusted, itemised estimate that also lets you add options like mesh, locking upgrades, coatings and thickness changes.
Beyond the price tables, we've also put together a buying guide comparing materials, a plain-language glossary of the technical terms you'll see in any glass or aluminium quotation, a walkthrough of how a project actually moves from enquiry to installation, and answers to the questions we get asked most — all further down this page.
Rate card last updated: 2026-08-16 06:09:03
Every specification on this page — a particular glass thickness, an aluminium section, a UPVC profile — has one base rate. That base rate is then adjusted in two ways to arrive at the number you finally pay. First, a material grade multiplier is applied, corresponding to the Economical, Standard, Premium tiers shown throughout this page. Second, a location multiplier is applied based on your district, which accounts for local transport distance, site access and regional labour cost — this is why the general figures on this page (calculated at our state-wide baseline factor) can differ slightly from the number a city-specific calculator shows you.
On top of the base × grade × location calculation, any optional add-ons you select — a thicker glass pane, an anti-reflective or acoustic coating, a mosquito mesh panel, a heavier-duty lock — are added as either a flat charge per line item or a per-square-foot/per-running-foot surcharge, depending on the add-on. All of this is transparent inside the calculator: nothing is bundled into a single opaque number you can't break down.
Finally, 18% GST is added on top of the material and installation total, shown as its own line rather than folded silently into the headline price — so the number you see quoted is always the number before tax, and you know exactly what the tax adds before you commit.
What the three grades mean in practice: Economical uses standard-quality material and finish suited to budget-conscious projects and secondary spaces; the middle tier balances cost against a noticeably better finish, hardware and tolerance; and Premium uses the highest-grade material, tighter fabrication tolerances and premium hardware brands, aimed at street-facing facades, client areas, and villas where finish quality is part of the design brief. The distinction is about craftsmanship and material quality, not the country of origin of the glass or aluminium.
Toughened Glass at Amit Glass Emporium covers 3 distinct specifications, each available in 3 material grades ranging from ₹123 up to ₹284 per sqft, exclusive of 18% GST. The right specification for your project depends on where it's going — a load-bearing or weather-exposed application generally calls for a higher grade and thicker material than an internal, low-traffic space, and our team will confirm the right choice during your free site visit rather than leaving you to guess from a price list alone.
If you're comparing toughened glass options for the first time, the fastest way to shortlist is by grade: start from Economical if budget is the primary constraint, move to the middle tier if you want a noticeably better finish without a large jump in cost, and choose Premium grade where the work will be visible to clients, guests or the street, or where long-term durability matters more than upfront savings.

Glass is the material doing the actual "seeing through" in almost every package on this page — windows, partitions, railings, facades and shower enclosures all use some form of toughened, laminated or insulated glass. Toughened (tempered) glass is heat-treated so that if it ever breaks, it shatters into small, blunt granules rather than sharp shards, which is why building codes require it for railings, doors and low-level glazing. Laminated glass sandwiches a plastic interlayer between two glass panes, so it holds together even when cracked — the choice for skylights, overhead glazing and higher-security applications. Double glazed units (DGU) trap an insulating air or gas gap between two panes for better thermal and acoustic performance, at a higher cost than single-pane options.
Aluminium sections are what most window and door frames, railings and facade support structures are built from. It is lightweight relative to its strength, doesn't rust, and takes a powder-coated or anodised finish well — which is why it dominates commercial facades and larger window openings where a heavier material like UPVC or timber would need more support. Standard aluminium sections conduct heat and cold through the frame; thermal-break aluminium systems insert an insulating barrier inside the profile itself to reduce that transfer, at a premium over standard sections.
UPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) window and door systems use a multi-chamber plastic profile, often internally reinforced with steel, that naturally insulates better against heat and sound than uncoated aluminium — a common choice for bedrooms facing busy roads, or homes prioritising energy efficiency. UPVC doesn't corrode or need repainting, though very large openings or heavy sliding/lift-and-slide doors typically still favour aluminium's strength-to-weight ratio.
ACP (aluminium composite panel) cladding is a different category altogether — thin aluminium sheets bonded to either side of a polyethylene or fire-retardant (FR) core, used to clad building exteriors and create signage-ready facades. It's not a substitute for glass or window aluminium; it's typically specified alongside structural glazing or window systems to finish the solid (non-glazed) portions of a facade. Fire-retardant core ACP is increasingly required by local fire-safety norms for buildings above a certain height, and generally costs more than standard polyethylene-core panels.
In practice, most mid-size and commercial projects use two or three of these materials together — aluminium or UPVC for the openings, glass for visibility and daylight, and ACP or structural glazing for the solid facade areas. Our team will help you decide the right split for your specific building and budget during the free site visit, rather than trying to sell you a single material for every application.
Toughened / Tempered Glass — Glass heat-treated for extra strength that breaks into small, blunt granules instead of sharp shards when it fails.
Laminated Glass — Two or more glass layers bonded around a plastic interlayer, so the pane holds together even if cracked.
DGU (Double Glazed Unit) — Two glass panes separated by a sealed air or gas gap, improving thermal and acoustic insulation.
Frosted / Fluted Glass — Glass with a textured or acid-etched surface that diffuses light while limiting direct visibility, common in partitions and doors.
Low-Iron / Extra-Clear Glass — Glass manufactured with reduced iron content, removing the natural greenish tint of standard float glass for a more neutral, premium appearance.
Thermal Break Aluminium — An aluminium profile with an insulating barrier built into the section itself, reducing heat/cold transfer through the frame.
Powder Coating — A dry, electrostatically-applied and oven-cured finish on aluminium, more durable than standard liquid paint.
PVDF Coating — A premium, highly weather- and UV-resistant coating used on higher-grade ACP panels and aluminium facade sections.
Spider Glazing — A frameless glass facade system held by stainless-steel "spider" fittings bolted through the glass, rather than a visible frame.
Structural Glazing — Glass bonded or mechanically fixed directly to a supporting frame to create a flush, largely frameless facade appearance.
Glass and aluminium work is largely low-maintenance, but a little routine care meaningfully extends its life and keeps it looking new. Clean glass surfaces with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and a soft cloth or squeegee — avoid abrasive powders or scouring pads, which can dull the surface over time, especially on coated or low-iron glass.
For aluminium and UPVC windows and doors, periodically vacuum or brush out the sliding tracks to remove dust and grit, which is the most common cause of a sliding window becoming stiff. A drop of silicone-based lubricant (not oil-based, which attracts dust) on hinges, rollers and locks once or twice a year keeps hardware moving smoothly.
Inspect silicone sealant joints around glass railings, shower enclosures and facade panels annually — sealant naturally degrades with UV exposure and temperature cycling over several years, and resealing a joint early is far cheaper than repairing water ingress later.
For ACP-clad or powder-coated facades, an annual wash-down with water and a mild detergent removes accumulated dust and pollution film, particularly important in industrial belts like Mandideep or along busy commercial roads, where surface grime builds up faster than in quieter residential areas.
Most projects need more than one material — a home might combine UPVC windows with a glass partition and a mirror wall; a commercial building might combine ACP cladding with structural glazing and skylights. Sourcing each from a separate vendor adds coordination overhead and inconsistent quality, and it's usually the customer left chasing two contractors when something doesn't align at the junction between materials. Amit Glass Emporium, backed by AMR BuildTech's project execution network across Madhya Pradesh, quotes and installs these together, with a single point of contact for measurement, fabrication, delivery and installation.
Every price shown on this page is read live from our current rate card, so it reflects the same numbers our team quotes from — not a stale, manually maintained figure that's drifted out of date. Actual site quotations additionally account for floor height, site access and any add-ons you select, which is exactly what each city-specific calculator captures when you enter your project details.
We serve both individual homeowners and commercial or institutional clients, and we're equally comfortable executing a single bathroom mirror as we are a multi-floor structural glazing facade — the same transparent, grade-based pricing structure applies either way.
